The new Calyx was built with three basic principles in mind, durability, simplicity and value. If you fish day in day out all year long, these are the guiding principles that keep all of your equipment-and you-going.

The metal frame and sideplates along with four bearings provide the foundation for one very tough reel. Quick take-down screws on the right sideplate and the all open spool design keep it simple to use and easy to maintain.

We even added our VBS cast control and SuperStopper anti-reverse system to make it a high performance package for a reasonable price.
