The 6/0 114HLW and 114HL fishing reels feature one piece anodized aluminum frames for superior strength and structural rigidity. The 4/0 113HLW, 113HSP and 113H fishing reels feature one piece graphite composite frames that lock into a one piece stainless steel reel stand, for a super strong, yet surprisingly lightweight design. Both 6/0 and 4/0 one piece frames have special cut-outs in the back to allow added thumb contact with the spool for more control when casting or free spooling. The 6/0 114H and 3/0 112H fishing reels feature standard frame posts.
Most models feature strong, yet lightweight black anodized aluminum spools which are ideal for casting large, heavy baits or lures. The 114H and 113HSP "Special Purpose" Senator® fishing reels come with sturdy, chromed cast bronze spools - ideal for use with wire line.
What you'll find inside every Special Senator® fishing reel is precision machined stainless steel pinion gears and high strength bronze alloy main gears that can really gather up line. And Penn's time-tested HT-100™ multi-disc star drag system doesn't miss a beat, even when the going gets tough.
Special Senator® fishing reels offer convertible power handles with oversized, comfortable knobs. You choose the speed or leverage setting to match conditions. The 112H features a soft grip handle.
Sealed stainless steel ball bearings deliver ultra smooth performance when you're casting, free spooling, cranking in line or going toe-to-toe with a big fish. The 112H features precision Penn bushings.
