Convector Star Drag Reels

The Convector series is arugably the hottest conventional reel available, the series keeps getting hotter. We continue to challenge our designers, and the continue to deliver. New for 2004, we introduce a true 4/0 size star drag, the CN55 and CN55W. These reels feature a drop-down gear box for oversized stainless steel gear and Relidium drags. The gear box is positiioned 45 degrees forward, so it will not interfere in the heart of battle. The CN55S features a blistering 6.2:1 high speed retrieve, perfect for speedsters like Wahoo or Kings. For the '04, the Convector series also features the new CN-30L and CN-30C. Both feature over-sized heat treated stainless steel gears and a re-engineered over-sized drop down gear box which enclose a massive drag system that guarantees that these reels will hold up under the toughest conditions. The full convector series is fitted with our super smooth Rulidium drags and quick set anti-reversse, utilizing a special oversized one-way roller bearing, eliminating ll handle play while guaranteeing rock solid hook sets. The casting models are fitted with our stainless steel power handle with our oversized offset machined aluminum handle knob, offering maximum power and comfort. For the line counters and level win models, we have fitted the stainless steel handles with our soft, TPE handles.
